Job Summary:
Operates company owned light duty trucks and trailers to transport materials inbound, outbound and between inventory holding locations as well Milford locations. Delivers materials to customer yards and jobsites. Prepares materials for transport and loads relevant equipment. Secures materials for movement during the transport of loads. Works together with other team members to ensure all materials are delivered safely and on schedule.

1. Ensures transportation equipment is properly maintained, secured, and delivered safely and timely.

A Training Specialist is responsible for providing training and instruction to internal staff and customers on the proper procedures and techniques of HDPE fusion, squeeze-off, and other technical subjects. This role involves, updating, and conducting training programs, as well as assisting field operations when needed. Job Summary:
The Shop Mechanic 1 performs a variety of tasks including inspection, trouble shooting, maintenance and repairs on small/midsized gasoline and diesel engine equipment. Performs general maintenance and repair on a variety of towed trailers such as utility flatbed, gooseneck, etc. They prepare customer work estimates, writes repair work orders and records inventory used. They keep their work area clean and organized ready to meet customer needs.
Essential Functions:
1. Maintain clean work area, equipment, vehicles, and other Milford assets.
2. Small gas/diesel engine maintenance and repair
3. Basic engine electrical system troubleshooting and repair
4. Hydraulic system maintenance and repair – pumps, drives, valves and cylinders
5. Preventive maintenance – lubricating, filtration and fluid changes, administer PM schedules
6. Service writing – report system, estimates, diagnosis and documenting repairs
7. Inspect the fusion equipment upon check in and check out.
8. Perform test fusions on fusion equipment (small and medium diameter)
9. Works with Shop Tech and other Shop Mechanics to accomplish departmental goals
10. Verification of incoming shipments; ensures materials are unloaded, stored, and verified according to policy.
