Gene Milford
About Milford

Our founder

Milford’s story begins in 1972, in the small town of Tatum, New Mexico, where Gene Milford laid the foundation for what would become a leading force in the polyethylene pipe and pipeline solutions industry. Starting with a vision rooted in innovation and a relentless commitment to customer service, Gene founded Milford Pump and Supply, initially focusing on repurposing and selling used pumps. His hands-on approach, combined with his ingenuity, led him to develop several key inventions that would shape the company’s future and set it apart in the industry.

Among his most notable inventions was the Shur-Kut Welding Tool, the Shur-Pump Windmill System, and the EZ Load Spool Trailer, a key tool for transporting and handling large rolls of pipe. These inventions showcased his forward-thinking mindset and helped solidify Milford’s reputation as an industry pioneer.
