Milford Companies have been a cornerstone of the industry since 1972. Headquartered in Midland, Texas, Milford was founded in the small town of Tatum, New Mexico by Gene Milford. Gene opened Milford Pipe and Supply with two goals in mind: be on the cutting edge of new technology and utilize that technology to provide a flawless customer experience. These goals continue to be the foundation which Milford has continued to build upon. What started as a small pump shop in Tatum has now grown into a multifaceted engineering, procurement and construction company providing infrastructure solutions throughout the United States.

Shawn Beard holds over 15 years of general management experience within the energy industry. He has continuously displayed an innate ability to balance operational efficiencies and business growth, boasting an exceptional record of client satisfaction. By employing a proactive management style coupled with effective leadership techniques, Shawn has established an accomplishment-driven workplace environment, resulting in unparalleled employee loyalty and outstanding customer satisfaction at all levels. His enthusiasm, positive attitude, and capacity to see the bigger picture has been the driving force behind Shawn’s ability to foster and maintain strategic business relationships within the corporate level.
Chase Brown joined Milford in 2010 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. His career at Milford has included a range of positions overseeing all aspects of the business from ground level field operations to executive management. Chase has climbed the ladder of success within Milford with stops along the way, respectively, as a Poly Pipe Technician, Counter Sales/Shop Technician, Supply Operations Manager, Vice President of Supply Operations, and Vice President of Sales, leading to his current role as Chief Operating Officer. His passion and motivation in business has been building and leading high functioning teams that can execute a well-crafted vision. Chase earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University, graduating Cum Laude in 2012.
Joe Pomykal came to Milford in August 2013 assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer. Upon joining the team, Joe brought invaluable experience to the company, serving in roles as: Vice President of Finance for Bell Supply Company, Regional Controller for Diamondback Pumping Service, as Controller for a large convenience store chain overseeing more than 250 stores and yearly revenues exceeding $300M, and a starting tenure in the medical field serving as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for multi-specialty clinics. Joe launched his impressive financial career with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
Jason Willis is the Executive Vice President for Milford since 2014, starting with the company in 2006. He joined the team as the Odessa Branch Shop Supervisor and quickly became Branch Manager, utilizing his keen ability in developing relationships with employees, customers and vendors while handling the complexities of a rapidly expanding business. In 2009, his aptitude for business operations earned him the role of Vice President of Operations where he continued to thrive, rising to the title of Executive Vice President. Jason has mapped a path to success via his ability to support and challenge a talented team driven by performance, while achieving goals focused expansion within several divisions of Milford. Displaying a true commitment to service, Jason previously served in Law Enforcement after graduating from both The Permian Basin and Bossier Parish Community College Law Enforcement Academies.
Mark Tufts joined the Milford Team in 2017 as Vice President of Business Development, bringing 30 years of sales and management experience in HDPE and industrial PVF manufacturing & distribution, throughout the US and Canada. Mark’s extensive knowledge of the HDPE industry results in a proven track record of successfully building, managing, and effectively deploying sales & operations teams throughout the country, while continuing to expand into new regions and market segments. His experience and skillset allow for effective negotiation of projects and contracts at any level of management: from CEO to Project Manager, end user to manufacturer and vendor. With an infectious passion for the industry, Mark employs a hands-on, boots on the ground management style, empowering his team members to make sound business decisions in real time.
